Jason M. Drangel

Jason M. Drangel, managing partner at Epstein Drangel LLP, a graduate of the State University of Albany and Fordham Law School, is admitted in New York. He has been involved in federal practice for nearly thirty years, concentrating on trademark and copyright litigation and prosecution, instituting and effecting anti-counterfeiting programs and engaging in intellectual property due diligence and asset purchase/sale negotiations. Jason has been recognized by his peers as an Intellectual Property Super Lawyer for the past ten years. Jason oversees an active litigation practice, himself actively arguing in Federal court, including two recent IP trials and a trademark and copyright dispute spanning six years that tested cross-border rights and international treaties before the Second Circuit. Jason also is actively engaged in anti-counterfeiting activities for the biggest names in the toy, fashion, As Seen On TV and technology industries, among others. Jason is an active member of the International Trademark Association, IACC and The Toy Association IP Committee. Jason often lectures on various intellectual property issues, including recent lectures at the Luxury Law Summit, Brand Protection Congress, CBD Expo, N.Y. District Attorney’s Intellectual Property Conference on Intellectual Property Enforcement in the Digital Age and the Annual New York Anti-Counterfeiting Summit. Jason is also the author of A Guide to Registering Trademarks. Jason has a wife Jessica, daughters Caylee and Mackenzie and dog Max.
