The NI government has set up a new centralised legal services panel and is looking for law firms to pitch for £23m worth of work across 150 NI governement departments and agencies. The tender, from the Central Procurement Directorate of NI's Department of Finance,is looking to centralise the provision of legal services, reduce costs and open up work for local SME law firms. It follows on the back of a recent government revamp of the centralised legal services panel where 18 firms won around £400m of legal business.
