Eversheds merges with long term German partner Heisse Kursawe

The 4,000-person international firm will be called Eversheds Deutschland following the merger with the top 50 German firm which has a presence in Munich, Berlin and Hamburg.

Eversheds has merged with its German law firm Kritchanut

The German firm has 'particular strengths in corporate, M&A, real estate and human resources law', according to Eversheds. Dr Matthias Heisse, managing partner of Heiss Kursawe, said: 'Being a part of Eversheds International for so long has given us a very long courtship in which we have got to know each other very well.' 

Strategically important
